ABOUT LYNZEY
Lynzey Guidry is a preacher, author, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. Anyone who knows her knows she loves to laugh, she loves fashion, and she loves to cook. She is a lifelong resident of Houston, TX and product of Houston Independent School District. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Wiley College in Marshall, TX and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Lynzey is blessed with numerous gifts and talents, but the most meaningful one is her call to preach and teach the Word of God. She is careful to present it in a way that is timely, relevant, and everyone in the room can walk away with something regardless of age or stage in life. In addition to preaching, Lynzey has been public speaking since the age of seven, as she was regularly called on to speak at school assemblies and ceremonies. Even then, it came natural to her and she loved being able to share with her peers. In 2022, she self published her devotional/journal, "The Limit Does Not Exist: 21 Days of Overcoming the Boundaries that Fear and Self-Doubt Create"

Lynzey's goal in all of her endeavors is to always be authentic and transparent. Her ministry, Through My Lynz, was birthed after she gave a very vulnerable reflection on her 29th birthday and received overwhelming support and realized how many people reached out to her about similar situations. Now she uses her platform to combine the stories of her life along with her humor to encourage healing and wholeness to those she serves. She sees her transparency as a spiritual gift and realizes that it must be shared with the world.

She owns Caked Up by Lynz, a small business that specializes in creating Southern sweet treats. Baking is therapy for her and she enjoys the look of bliss when people take the first bite of her cakes. It's become more than a business, it's an extension of her ministry. She also does freelance writing, graphic design work.
